Features
Unipot Seeding 70/30 combines Baltic blonde peat and brown peat at 0–7 mm granulometry (particle size). This creates a fine structure with higher air porosity than standard 50/50 balances. It reduces the risk of root suffocation in the early germination stages. This is critical for species sensitive to waterlogging and for cycles on permanently moist substrates, such as high-density seeding trays.
The dominant proportion of blonde peat keeps the structure more open. This supports slow germination and uniform rooting. The PG Mix starter fertiliser supports the first growth phase. The wetting agent allows you to re-wet the seedling root zone evenly after drying cycles.
Unipot Seeding 70/30 is suitable both for seeding in containers and for forming pressed cubes. It uses selected Baltic peat, consistently extracted from the same fields, to ensure batch-to-batch quality continuity.
Technical specifications
| Structure | Fine |

| Granulometry | 0-7 mm |
| pH | 5–6 |
| EC | 0.7–1.3 mS/cm |
| Dry bulk density | 180–190 g/L |
Why choose it
- 0–7 mm granulometry (particle size): seed-to-substrate contact with slightly increased porosity.
- Blonde peat as main component: more air spaces compared to standard balances, extending germination chamber cycles without compaction.
- pH 5–6 and EC 0.7–1.3 mS/cm: acid profile suitable for the majority of seedlings.
- Dry bulk density 180–190 g/L: medium load-bearing capacity, homogeneous plug filling.
- PG Mix starter fertiliser and root biostimulant: fast rooting support.
