Features
Press RK-W + Perlite combines Baltic blonde peat 0–7 mm, brown peat 0–7 mm and perlite in a fine structure developed for plug cohesion and rapid drying between irrigations. The perlite increases air porosity in the mix and maintains stable oxygenation at the root zone even after frequent irrigation cycles, reducing the risk of asphyxiation in high-density trays.
Integrated dolomitic lime corrects the naturally acidic pH of peat to the optimal range of 5–6. The PG Mix starter fertiliser supports the first growth phase. Press RK-W + Perlite is the recommended variant of Press RK-W when your growing plan includes frequent irrigation or use in high-density trays.
Selected peat from the Baltic countries, consistently from the same fields, to ensure quality continuity batch after batch.
Technical specifications
| Structure | Fine |

Why choose it
- Fine granulometry 0–7 mm: uniform seed-to-substrate contact in plugs and containers.
- Integrated perlite: increases air porosity and accelerates drying compared to standard Press RK-W.
- pH 5–6 and EC 0.6–1 mS/cm: slightly acidic profile, stabilised in the formula.
- Dry bulk density 143–175 g/L: lightweight substrate for fast tray filling.
- PG Mix starter fertiliser and root biostimulant: promotes rooting of the germinating seedling.
