Professional products Specific formulas Mus-RK1
Casing substrate for mushroom cultivation, with calibrated alkaline pH for the productive phase.
Mus-RK1 is the Arber casing substrate for mushroom cultivation (Agaricus bisporus). Baltic brown peat blended with dolomitic lime to stabilise pH in the alkaline range of 7.3–7.5 during the productive phase. High dry bulk density. Available in Big Bale.

Features
You apply Mus-RK1 as a top layer over mycelium-colonised compost after the incubation phase. It supports the productive phase and promotes uniform pinning across repeated harvest flushes. The formula combines Baltic brown peat with integrated dolomitic lime. The lime stabilises pH at 7.3–7.5, creating a selective environment that inhibits competing moulds and promotes Agaricus fruiting.
The very high dry bulk density (750–850 g/L) and coarse structure ensure consistent water retention and adequate gas exchange throughout the full production cycle. These are key factors for vigorous yields and compact mushrooms. Mus-RK1 is available exclusively in Big Bale, sized for the throughput of professional mushroom production lines.
Baltic peat from selected origins, sourced consistently from the same fields season after season, ensures batch-to-batch quality continuity.

Why choose it
- Uniform and stable coverage: dry bulk density of 750–850 g/L for consistent growing beds across harvest flushes.
- Selected brown peat: rich surface layer to support mushroom pinning and development.
- pH 7.3–7.5: alkaline profile calibrated for Agaricus fruiting.
- EC <0.5 mS/cm: minimal salinity to avoid interference with the mycelium cycle.
- Dry bulk density 750–850 g/L: full and uniform coverage across growing beds.
