German Uniplus is a first-choice Leader universal growing medium. It is developed with selected German blonde and black peat, perlite, wood fiber, and an integrated base fertiliser. Perlite ensures fast drainage even in compact substrates. This is essential for preventing root rot — and particularly valuable in warm-climate regions and during spring repotting.
You can use it for pot sowing and for repotting and growing all green and flowering plants, both indoors and outdoors. The integrated fertiliser supports steady growth over time. Wood fiber maintains structural stability even after months of cultivation. For acid-loving plants (azaleas, camellias, blueberries, blue hydrangeas), choose a substrate formulated for acid-loving species.
This product is particularly suited to warm-climate regions and spring repotting. The perlite and open structure help drainage and prevent waterlogging. Packaged in Italy using selected German peat, consistently from the same fields.

When to use it
Suitable for pot sowing and repotting of all green and flowering plants. Particularly well suited to warm-climate regions and spring repotting, where perlite supports drainage.
How to use it
- Fill the bottom of the pot with a drainage layer of expanded clay or volcanic Lapillus (3–5 cm).
- Add German Uniplus to 2 cm below the rim of the pot.
- Transplant or sow at the depth indicated on the plant label.
- Water thoroughly immediately after repotting. Avoid standing water in the saucer.
- For sowing: pre-moisten the substrate and use the saucer only if needed.
