DX-60 W 0-10 + Perlite

DX-60 W 0-10 + Perlite is the Arber professional substrate for seeding cucurbits — melons, courgettes, cucumbers, watermelons and other large-seeded species. The medium-fine structure combines blonde Baltic peat 0–10 mm and brown peat 0–10 mm with perlite. This combination is calibrated to support large seeds without compacting around the emerging seedling roots.

The 0–10 mm granulometry is coarser than standard seeding substrates at 0–5 mm. It ensures good contact with large seeds and leaves space for cotyledon expansion. Perlite maintains rapid drainage during the frequent irrigation cycles typical of cucurbit propagation. Integrated dolomitic lime corrects pH to the optimal range of 5.5–6.5. PG Mix starter fertiliser supports the first stage of growth.

DX-60 W 0-10 + Perlite suits both container seeding and tray propagation. The blonde peat is selected from Baltic origins, consistently from the same fields, to ensure lot-to-lot quality continuity.
