Features

Soy lecithin is a phospholipid that boosts the natural defences of plants, in particular against fungal pathogens and abiotic stress such as cold and drought. Controller Funghi is a ready-to-use spray plant strengthener in aqueous emulsion at 1% concentration.

Approved for use in organic farming under EC Reg. 834/2007 art. 16 para. 4. Included in Annex II of Ministerial Decree 6793 of 18/07/2018 — provisions for the implementation of EC Regulations 834/2007 and 889/2008 on organic production — and therefore not subject to authorisation by the Italian Ministry of Health under that Decree and Presidential Decree 28/02/2012 no. 55.

Apply by spraying the plant from a distance of 40–50 cm. Apply a first preventive treatment in late autumn, when plants are completely bare of leaves. Repeat a second treatment between late January and mid-February. Apply further treatments at intervals of 5–10 days. For treatments to be effective, the soy lecithin must dry completely on the plant within 24 hours. Repeat the treatment after heavy rain.

FAQs

Is Controller Funghi a plant protection product?

No. The label states explicitly that Controller Funghi is not a fertiliser and not a plant protection product. It is a natural plant strengthener under EC Reg. 834/2007 art. 16 para. 4 and is included in Annex II of Ministerial Decree 6793 of 18/07/2018. It works by strengthening the plant's natural stress resistance, not by acting as a registered phytosanitary treatment against specific pathogens.

Can I use it in organic farming?

Yes. Controller Funghi is certified for organic farming under EC Reg. 834/2007 art. 16 para. 4 and is included in Annex II of Ministerial Decree 6793/2018. It is therefore suitable for organic garden and vegetable growing.

When should treatments be applied?

Apply the first treatment preventively in late autumn, when plants are completely bare of leaves (October–November). Apply the second treatment in late winter, between late January and mid-February. Apply further treatments at intervals of 5–10 days. The soy lecithin must dry on the plant within 24 hours — repeat the treatment after heavy rain.
