Hobby products Plant care and protection Citrus Fertiliser
Slow-release granular NPK 15-6-15 fertiliser for stronger citrus plants and better fruit set.
Progressive nitrogen release throughout the full growing cycle to prevent fruit drop and cracking. NPK 15-6-15 with magnesium and sulphur. Specific for lemons, oranges, mandarins and potted citrus. Granular, 1 KG.
Features
Leader Citrus Fertiliser is a slow-release compound mineral granular fertiliser. The NPK (Mg-S) 15-6-15 formula is specific to all citrus plants. Fruit drop and cracking are the main risks during fruiting. Progressive nitrogen release throughout the development cycle keeps nutrition steady. This prevents both problems and supports large, well-coloured fruit.
Magnesium and sulphur increase leaf density and blade thickness. This improves photosynthesis and the flavour of harvested fruit.
Apply at a rate of 400–600 g per 10 m². Distribute evenly around the plant and water thoroughly. Granular format, 1 KG pack.
Why choose it
- NPK 15-6-15 with Mg + S, slow-release: progressive nutrition throughout the full citrus development cycle.
- Progressive nitrogen release: supports the 3–4 annual growth flushes typical of citrus, providing continuous nutrition from spring to autumn.
- Magnesium + sulphur: improve photosynthesis, healthy and vigorous foliage, and fruit flavour.
- Rate: 400–600 g per 10 m² every 4–6 weeks from March to September to maximise fruit set and fruit size.
- MCT-coated granular (11% by weight). 1 KG pack.
How to use it
- Spread the granules evenly around the plant, 10–20 cm from the trunk.
- Work them lightly into the top 5 cm of soil.
- Water thoroughly to activate slow nutrient release.
- Repeat 2–3 times per year: at the start of growth, after flowering, and after harvest.
