Features
Root rot is the main risk for potted succulents. Cactus LPX1 prevents it through a formulation dominated by volcanic inerts. Pumice 3–8 mm and volcanic Lapillus 3–5 mm reduce drying time significantly and prevent waterlogging. Baltic blonde peat in mixed granulometry (0–5, 0–40, 20–40 mm) provides calibrated water retention suited to the limited needs of these species. The medium-coarse structure keeps the substrate well-oxygenated, even during high-humidity months.
PG Mix starter fertiliser supports the re-establishment phase after repotting. The wetting agent helps with the first rehydration of the root zone. Cactus LPX1 is designed for pots from Ø 14 cm and above, where the inert content delivers its full drainage benefit. Pumice and volcanic Lapillus come from established Italian quarry supply chains.
Baltic peat is selected from consistent sources — the same extraction fields, season after season — to ensure batch-to-batch quality continuity.

Why choose it
- Medium-coarse structure: dry bulk density 162–198 g/L for structural stability in medium to large pots without compaction.
- Pumice and volcanic Lapillus as dominant components: inerts for drying within 48–72 hours and root rot prevention.
- pH 5–6 and EC 0.4–0.6 mS/cm: balanced profile for cacti and succulents.
- Dry bulk density 162–198 g/L: dense substrate with strong cohesion in medium to large pots.
- Integrated PG Mix starter fertiliser: minimal nutrition matched to the slow metabolic pace of succulents. Reduces repotting stress.
