Professional substrate for container blueberry: consistent drainage and naturally acidic pH.
Blueberry K1 + Perlite is the Arber professional substrate for growing blueberry in containers. It combines Baltic blonde peat 20–40 mm, brown peat 0–20 mm, coconut fiber and perlite: naturally very acidic pH (3.5–4.5) and consistent drainage. For pots from Ø 16 cm and above.

Features
Blueberry requires very acidic pH and consistent drainage for healthy roots. Blueberry K1 + Perlite is developed for exactly this. The medium-coarse structure combines Baltic blonde peat 20–40 mm and brown peat 0–20 mm, completed with coconut fiber and perlite. This maintains consistent drainage and root oxygenation throughout the full growing cycle. The naturally very acidic pH (3.5–4.5) matches the range that blueberry requires. Blueberry is particularly sensitive to incorrect pH and to hard irrigation water.
The very low conductivity (0.1–0.3 mS/cm) protects roots from salt stress. This is essential for blueberry, which has naturally low salt tolerance. The PG Mix starter fertiliser is dosed low to preserve the required saline profile. The wetting agent supports easy first rehydration of the root zone. Blueberry K1 + Perlite is suited for pots from Ø 16 cm and above — for both field container growing and annual repotting of mature plants.
Selected peat from the Baltic countries, extracted consistently from the same fields season after season, ensures quality continuity from batch to batch.
