Features
The medium structure of Bio Aromas G1 is the result of specific research into frequent-cut production cycles. Baltic and German peat provide water retention. Wood fiber ensures root aeration even in small pots. Cocopeat and green compost complete the integrated organic nutrition. The dominant share of wood fiber gives structural stability throughout the entire production cycle.
The integrated organic fertilisation replaces synthetic mineral fertilisers. It provides a gradual release of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium calibrated to the nutritional needs of aromatic herbs. The wetting agent supports uniform hydration after each cut. The slightly acid pH (5.4–6.2) suits both basil and the main greenhouse and open-field aromatic crops.
Bio Aromas G1 is formulated in compliance with EU Regulation 2018/848 on organic production and is produced in Germany. Selected peat from Baltic and German origins comes consistently from the same fields, season after season, to ensure lot-to-lot quality continuity. 30 years of selected supply chain and over 7 million m³ of substrates produced since 1996.

Why choose it
- Medium structure: water-to-air ratio optimised for potted organic basil with weekly harvest cycles.
- Regular wood fiber: aeration and durability across the aromatic herb production cycle.
- pH 5.4–6.2 and EC 0.5–0.6 mS/cm: low salinity for a sensitive organic crop.
- Dry bulk density 239 g/L: consistent substrate fill for uniform pot loading in the seedling tray.
- Integrated organic fertilisation: nutrients available for 8–10 weeks of the aromatic herb cycle.
