Acid is the Arber professional substrate with a medium-coarse structure for azaleas, rhododendrons and acid-loving plants. Baltic blonde peat 0–20 mm maintains pH 3.0–4.5 without chemical additives. Brown peat provides cation exchange capacity for nutritional stability. Suitable for pots from Ø 14 cm upward.

Features
Acid solves the critical problem for acid-loving plants: unstable pH and sensitivity to hard water. The medium-coarse structure, made from Baltic blonde peat 0–20 mm and brown peat 0–20 mm, maintains pH 3.0–4.5 — the specific range for azaleas, rhododendrons and other acid-loving species.
The high proportion of blonde peat delivers natural acidity without chemical correctors. The brown peat fraction adds cation exchange capacity for nutritional stability throughout the crop cycle. The PG Mix starter fertiliser is dosed low to avoid altering the salt profile required by sensitive acid-loving plants. The wetting agent supports uniform substrate hydration after dry-down cycles.
Acid is suitable for pots from Ø 14 cm upward, both for cold greenhouse cultivation and for the annual repotting of mature azaleas. Selected peat from Baltic origins, consistently from the same fields, ensures quality continuity from batch to batch.
