Arber’s response under the Leader brand is a new peat-free organic hobby potting soil, Leader German Ecoplus, which brings professional technology into the hobby channel.
The substrate is produced in Germany for Arber by the same reference partner used for the professional and hobby substrate ranges. Consistent standards, raw-material control and advanced agronomic know-how, transferred directly from the professional world.
The blend is built on three key components:
- Wood fibre. Gives structure to the medium, increases oxygenation and keeps the root ball soft, reducing the risk of root asphyxia.
- High-quality natural green compost. Provides organic matter and gradually available nutrients, for stronger and longer-lasting plants.
- Coco peat. Improves water retention, limiting drought stress and making the product suitable even for irregular watering routines.
The result is a ready-to-use potting soil for vegetable garden in pots, balconies, planters and container plants: professional performance with hobby-grade ease of use. For the retailer, a ‘real’ peat-free organic backed by a solid technical supply chain and a recognisable brand.
