What sets a Leader substrate apart from a supermarket substrate?
Leader substrates come from the same supply chain that feeds the Arber professional catalogue, active since 1996. Three concrete differences: selected peat from the Baltic and Germany, extracted from the same fields year after year (batch continuity), block-cut peat for greater structural stability, base fertilisation calibrated and declared on the label. The bag is small; the product inside is chosen to professional criteria.
Are Leader fertilisers suitable for all plants?
The Leader plant care range includes a Universal Fertiliser (liquid and granular) for green plants, flowering plants, vegetables and general repotting, and a series of specific fertilisers for particular needs: acid-loving plants, citrus, geraniums, orchids, succulents, roses, cycas. The rule is: for everyday use choose the Universal; for a specific crop switch to the dedicated fertiliser — the formula differs in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and trace elements calibrated to the plant.
Can Leader Olio di Neem be used during flowering?
Olio di Neem is a natural insecticide based on azadirachtin, the active ingredient extracted from the seeds of the Neem tree. It has a repellent action against aphids, scale insects, whiteflies and other pests. Apply by spraying at 20–30 cm from the plant, repeating every 8–12 days. Treat during the cool hours of the morning or evening. During flowering, use with caution because it can also deter pollinating insects (bees, bumblebees) — it is best to treat when no pollinators are present.
